Tell us about that Illinois game again....................BTW, after Mich, in the Big 10 remind me again who you have THAT YOU PLAYED this year that equals a Florida, Auburn, Tenn, Arkansas.............all teams LSU plays on the road. Thank your snow covered balls you don't play in the SEC.
When you play your tough games on the 1st game of the year and the last and don't have to worry about anything in between..................you start looking over your shoulder at the REAL TEAMS you are glad you don't have to play. Thus he is here..............LSU!
I don't know where Scott is. He hasn't played in a while. You have to wonder why Miles did not play KW. To answer the question what happened tonight, the answer is: 1. LSU did not have their game face on. They thought it was going to be a pushover game and they played that way - with no effort and no inspiration. 2. For whatever reason, the coaching staff did not, or could not, get them prepared to play the game. 3. Ole Miss had absolutely nothing to lose so they came prepared to play - both on defense and offense. Because they had nothing to lose, coach O pulled out all the stops and put in some high risk plays that caught us flat-footed and paid off for them. 4. Because of #3, the LSU coaching staff was out-coached. Did something good come out of this other than the win? Yes. Every team should be allowed a "mulligan." Well, this was our mulligan. It was our one really lousy game for the year. Amazingly, we won. Now we have it out of our system and we can focus on Arkansas. We should see LSU play much better next week.
I'm just joking, good game LSU. You won every game on your home slate, are going to a great bowl game and a solid QB (whoever it is) for next year.
