TSU/Bama Fan Please don't judge Troy by Auburn standards, and please don't think that we are all Auburn fans...just because we are close by....it's even more reason not to be. Most of the Troy fans know that there is nothing to worry about taking the band to LSU....there are just some people that want to stir up things(probably are Auburn fans). Believe me...you would enjoy the band...Troy has always had a great band, and I hope that we can get the money up to take them on many away games. I have been to "Death Valley" several times as a Bama fan, and could not have been treated any nicer. At the game, and in the city after the game, and these were times that Bama won, and they still were very nice to us. One time we had seats right behind the Bama band, and I did not see any bottles being thrown at the band. One year that I went was the 1992 championship year, and after the game it was announced that Washington lost and that moved Bama into the number 2 spot, and all of the LSU fans around us wished us luck, and hoped we won the national championship. I'm glad that LSU won this year, and wanted them to win the Baseball series..would have been great 2 championships in one year.
yes, we know its a case of Tubbyitis by most of the self-loathing whiners of the 'plainswomen.' Much of this stems from little brother syndrome with the rest coming from being overhyped since Ears has taken over. Either way, glad you weren't mugged on your visits and hope you make it to BR for the game.
Don't judge What I should have said was don't judge Troy State by anyone's standards. In years to come Troy State will probably fool a lot of people and become a very dominate program for Division 1. I was replying to someone's comment on this board.............I do not go on the Auburn board..........I really don't see where it was any of your business.
