Geez.... per Sanders own quote, the driving force is baseless claims, which by definition, could not disclose classified info since, wait for it . . . . they are baseless. There was nothing to disclose.

And Trump and company have made this infantile logic believable to so many. Sad.

Not really, you should know that communication with the president such as meetings, etc, would be classified, at the least, as confidential.

In the full context of the statement, what she said is true. There are multiple instances where those mentioned leaked varied stages of information.

SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS: Not only is the president looking to take away [John] Brennan's security clearance, he's also looking into the security clearances of Comey, Clapper, Hayden, Rice, and McCabe. The president is exploring the mechanisms to remove security clearance because they've politicized and in some cases monetized their public service and security clearances, making baseless accusations of improper contact with Russia or being influenced by Russia against the president is extremely inappropriate. And the fact that people with security clearances are making these baseless charges provides inappropriate legitimacy to accusations with zero evidence.

So, are Trump and the Justice Department going to prosecute these guys for disclosing classified material? Hope they don’t get a free pass like Hillary.

what an interesting question and a slippery slope. either they didnt devulge secret info and thus there is no collusion or they did and should be prosecuted.

Yep, but he won’t because he is only interested in trolling people who rightly can’t stand his punk ass and making himself more wealthy.

I've got 32, about to be 33 posts here about Brennan and the evil he is, and has done. If Trump's vindictiveness resulted in Brennan getting the shaft, then the means justifies the ends IMO.

Brennan was supplying arms to jihadists to support Assad's outer. Same damn thing that Putin was doing in Ukraine. And Trump is the bad-guy collusionist. Laughable. Brennan masterminded Benghazi. Even Hillary was clueless to some of his shenanigans. He got American servicemen killed. He's ordered the killing of many. He's evil and he's pure shit. Means and ends.

I’m no fan of Brennan, but if Trump and company think he has violated national security by unlawfully disclosing classified information, then charge him. Otherwise they should STFU! The “revoke clearance scheme” reeks of a sophomoric stunt.

i'm trying to understand just why brennan & company need to keep their clearances...if there were a national emergency of the magnitude that would require looping them back in, an emergency clearance could be issued or provision made for them

how is our national security is jeopardy without comey's or clapper's imput? what is the purpose of them keeping access to national secrets?
to me this is akin to terminating the ceo of a company, but the ceo is given lifetime access to sit in on board meetings....while working across the street with the competition

the narrative is flawed at best

Nobody has to STFU.....this is America. If you charge Brennan, he stops leaving a trail of crumbs. And again, I don't care what it was, I'm just glad Brennan got tagged.
You are correct. Allowing folks to keep it was really just a courtesy and no President has ever been required to honor it.
