Outside of Trump just being a dick, it goes far beyond baseless accusations as it was directly tied to years of investigations that have done nothing but try to discredit Trump at every turn. If you dont think these people used and abused their clearances for this cause, the ONLY people with their head in the sand is YOU GUYS.... Trump has full authority to do this. Regardless of the optics. These people started shit and are dealing with the consequences.
