South Carolina -- give one reason why South Carolina won't qualify for a bowl this season under Spurrier when they did last season under Holtz???

Because Spurrier doesn't have the team to qualify for a bowl. He has thrown players off the team and lost some seniors. The Cocks played their best game of the year against UGA.

Considering the season is only 3 weeks old, you're pretty harsh on them, huh?

Hell, I think UT sucked tonight but take away their turnovers and they beat UF, imo.

Urban Myth O wasn't that great.

But of course, turnovers do show a sign of sucking so I may be giving them too much credit

Yeah, I figured someone would mention them. I agree, they have looked good, but then again, how many of these teams in question would look good against the likes of Duke and Ohio? Id like to think we could beat those teams 45-0, as well. Their biggest win so far has been a 20-16 triumph over an NC State team in its first year in a long time without both Philip Rivers and TA McLendon.

Exactly my point. I think it is too early in the season for there to even be a top ten. I think polls should not be released until after week 5 of the season. Then maybe polls would be worth something then. At this point I could not give you a top ten but not many teams have played that well yet.

Nobody, there should not be a top ten yet, that is all I am saying. It is way too early in the season to have a top ten. Using the polls as a basis for an argument at this point in the season is useless. Nobody will care if you beat the number 1 team at the time and then that team goes on to lose 5 or 6 games. It is too early in the season for poll, IMO.

No never trust Vandy. Just when you think they are good they wake up and remember they are Vandy and will lose a game there not supposed to. I would not be surprised by a loss to either Richmond or MTSU.

It is Week 4 now....a Top 10 poll should be formed.

    Week 1-2...I would agree.

    back to the topic

again the game to decide the west is LSU v Aub. im glad thats a home game. they only have two other tough games and one is bama at home (after we play them---which id guess is an advantage), we have three w/o a bye.
