1. I don't see the number of teams increasing past 4 anytime soon. Expand and w/a conf championship game you could be looking at a 16 game season.

Am I missing something? Weeks 15 and 16 have USC #1.
  3. Look at 2007. NO team with 2 losses NOT from the SEC would be in the NC game. In 2003 USC had 1, ONE triple OT loss on the road and we were not in the final.

  5. No no sista, can't agree with you on that one. We WON that game so we weren't the ones out of place. PLUS we had the best resume, period. Check out how many ranked teams we beat that year- final poll. More than any other team. *sticking tongue at Song Girl*
  6. I don't disagree. The BCS just set off with an uneven distribution of credit for components not shared by all conferences. Is that the fault of the SEC? Of course not but it didn't yield the best match ups and the ensuing pre-season rankings.
  7. Also didn't USC lose to a 40 or 50 point dog that season?

  8. Yeah she's talking about the one that's stood the test of time. You know, the one we used before the BCS and still use today. ;)

  9. Wrong! Had they used the AP poll USC would have been in the championship game.
