He won a trip to the NC with a 3rd string QB, and has WR's throwing TD passes. I'd take Meyer over Miles any fucking day.

Well, maybe he was smart enough to play to his players strengths. Now, he is utilizing his talent properly, and not trying to make CJones run Tebow type plays.

I couldn't agree more. I'm most definitely not in the "rah rah SEC" camp. I want LSU to win, and everyone else to lose, especially the gumps. I'll now add TAMU to my most hated list as well.

Yes, last night, I was a Buckeye fan. My hatred for Nicky and his Bammers trumps my disdain for Meyer and OSU.

Its really a physics problem, conservation of mass/energy. With two or three teams taking the talent in SEC world, SEC dominated -- a small number of teams did great. But now, there are 6 or 7 teams taking the same talent and are doing very good, but obviously not great. Dilution occurrs. Six or seven teams can fill with talent to about the same level, but they can't fill to the level of just 2 or 3. Stay in school!

I'm not in the SEC SEC SEC camp. I root for LSU and can care less about anybody else.

The fact is, the SEC SEC SEC crowd loves to talk about media bias against the SEC and all that garbage. Meanwhile, the media and fan hype about the "NFL SEC West" that was going on this season was unreal. Also turned out to be totally bogus. This needs to be acknowledged. God forbid we had listened to these people and put 2 or even 3 SEC West teams in the playoff. Thank God they don't make the decisions anymore.

Furthermore, those that thought the SEC domination was going to go on forever probably weren't around in the 80s and early to mid 90s when the SEC was just another conference. The times they are a changin....

I've often said that bowl game records are shyt. I'm not sure how strong the SEC West really was or is but I know bowl games hardly measure that. As I said in another thread, half of our division had their sights set on a National Title so "backing into" lesser bowl games was a let down.

Course, the same can be said for Notre Dame and they showed up so I am not even sure if I'm correct in assuming what I just said.
