So I'm guessing ole Curt here wants my 03' predictions. Well here they are:

On August 30th, LSU will host their first game on the 2003 season vs. UL-Monroe. This like always will be LSU's warm up game of the season. Don't expect to see HUGE plays and a 60-3 score. LSU will make a few begining of the year mistakes and ULM will make a lot of them. Tigers when this game 34-7.

On September 6th, LSU will travel to Tucson, Arizona for its first road game of the season. Not much to say about this game besides the fact that Arizona is prob worse than ULM. Mauck will really establish his passing game in this game. I think with that said, Tigers win this game 38-6.

September 13, Western Illinois make its first trip to Tiger Stadium for a beat down. Westen Illinois has some talent but with LSU coming off two warm up games and on to its third it's going to be a blow out. The run is a big hit in this game. Tigers win 48-13.

Stay tuned for SEC play predictions....

i made up a song about the SEC predictions...and it goes a little something like this....

"Oh Rocky Top, you'll never be home sweet home to meeeee
Piss on Rocky Top WOOOO, &#*$ you Tennessee"

Tennessee and "the Great Pumpkin himself" Fulmer have had there ass handed to them once in the Georgia dome courtesy of Saban and the Fighting Tigers (oh wait, and Matt Mauck too)....expect this years SEC championship game to be a little less exciting though, with the lack of John Corbello :cuss:

and Rick Clausen will cry b/c he could have gotten another ring, but he left so he could not play at Tennessee

LSU over UGA in the SEC Championship game.

I think Florida is over-rated this year, and Tennessee, until they prove otherwise, hasn't been the same, dominating team, that they were 3 years ago.

BUT, I think the deciding game in the SEC will come down to Tigers vs Tigers--We need to get past, what will be a very good Auburn team. And don't forget about the Tide--always willing to crash our party...:lsug: :geaux:

I think LSU will most likely win the SEC west although Auburn may have a slightly better team. However, because the LSU/Auburn game will be played in Tiger Stadium this year I think it gives the Real Tigers the advantage. :geaux: Tiger Stadium and LSU fan support gives the the Bayou Bengals an extra 7 points! The Tigers two toughest SEC games this year will probably be Alabama and Ole Miss only because they are away games along with South Carolina. Georgia, Florida, Auburn and Arkansas play in Tiger Stadium. Miss. State doesn't count. Tigers own them.

I hope you're right (about Tiger Stadium giving us the edge over Auburn). Before I moved, the last game I went to against Auburn was a few years ago when Auburn went into half-time up 28-0 (or something along those lines....can't remember because I was in serious rage and frustration mode).

We don't lose at Bama since the Bear is gone. We didn't before, we don't now.

The schedule is in our favor to win it all.

No offense Fritzz but we are an amazing 3-5 in games versus Bama played away from Tiger Stadium since the Bear left. 0-2 in Birmingham and 3-4 in Tuscaloser. I believe we will win at Tuscaloser this year, but we definitely still have trouble at Bama.
