SEC close to approving new rules for rescheduling games
    http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...-close-approving-new-rules-rescheduling-games
.....SEC athletic directors voted unanimously last month to approve a regulation that would give the commissioner unilateral control, something he didn't have when LSU and Florida were in an acrimonious stalemate amid Hurricane Matthew. ....It created a less-than-ideal situation in October , with LSU refusing to give up a home game and Florida eventually being forced to play on the road to stay in the Eastern Division title hunt.

.....Florida only agreed to play at Tiger Stadium after SEC Commissioner Sankey made a determination to disqualify from SEC championship contention any school that fails to play the eight league games called for by conference rules and regulations. So the Gators had little choice other than to play on the road.

  5. They continue to make LSU out to be the bad guys in this when we traveled on the road for a hurricane and moved a game to a Monday. LSU offered to travel to gainsville to play that game later that weekend when Gainesville was pummeled by 20 mph winds and 1 inch of rain.

  7. It would have been a lot easier "letting go" if we would have won the game!

  8. Even if we had still lost I would feel better if Elmer Fudd had at least tried to do something different in the second half.
