I was really surprised to see Zach throw as he did in the rain. I was expecting more of A rushing attack in this game That shows the confidence the coaches have in Mett and the receivers. Hill was torching that defense. That was a good SEC game. Nice start to the conference play. Was funny see Gus having a meltdown on the sidelines. And I'd love to be able to decipher their call boards auburn uses. Miley Cyrus slot left. Sponge bob sweep. Twitter wide Facebook break.
I really, really despise Gus' kindergarten bs signs. That should be posted under "the ugly" in Red's thread.
They said during the pregame that Cam had him throwing wet balls in practice for a couple of days before the game. Excellent foresight on his part.
Oh me too! Meant to mention that last night in the game thread. Seems like much ado about nothing. Might very well be, too. I've known baseball coaches to flash signs when, in truth, they were as simple as, "If I'm leaning back against the dugout/fence, take the pitch. If I'm not, green light."
Yes, it was. I was impressed when I heard that. It's what you should do though. Similate game conditions as much as possible. It's not to be taken for granted though, the AU qb had only thrown once under those conditions, they said.
Alot of teams do that, I can't even begin to tell you how much of a relief it is to have a team that isn't new school. I hate the read option, I hate teams that run it, I hate quarterbacks who aren't real quarterbacks, I hate the spread. It's refreshing to pull for a team that will line up in the I formation and use a fullback. Also, I think we are gonna see Dickson emerge as that 3rd target which is huge IMO.
