Spurlock I keep hearing the guy can drill you with the ball. Supposed to be accurate. Many team members say he will be special. Must be making those opinions through practice cause he sure didn't play much. Of course, he did not have many chances to enter a game. Eli and company may "lay 50" on a few teams but our defense would turn around and let the other team "lay 55" on us. :sob:
From the gaytor boards: The rumor is that David Pollack has LOST between 20 and 30 lbs since the end of last season. He also has lost considerable strength. The speculation from this UGA fan, and others he says, is that Pollack has recently gone OFF steroids!!!!!! If this rumor is true, and I'm not saying it is, it might explain why he opted not to jump to the NFL. I wonder if the NFL scouts knew something about this and told him that they wouldn't take him if he was on steroids. :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis:
Take a look at who they have returning and at that schedule and you can make a strong case for Georgia to make quite a run this season. I have no problem at all with Georgia, a talented team with a great coach. Man, that Oct. 2 game in Athens is gonna be a barnburner!
I hope for the sake of the rivalry between Ole Miss and LSU that Ole Miss stays competitive in the SEC, ofcourse always coming on the losing end when they play the Tigers. I don't think David Cutcliffe is a very good coach however, so I'm not sold on their ability to be able to regroup for another good season with alot of new players.
