I believe they admitted the webster non-PI against Bama two years ago was wrong.

Of course, that was a call that benefited LSU....

Well, in theory ok. Let's not knit-pick one game. And it is not just the SB, they are also considered for the pro-bowl and MNF, at least in the past before ESPN got it. I would guess it is still the same though.

Par for the course. Once again the SEC shows it's stupidity. Amazing to me how clueless the SEC is.

A simple case of taking no responsibility, I have some sympathy for the refs on the field. I have none for the replay officials botching calls that don't even require great eyesight. They are protecting their own. Who watches the watchers. There is utterly NO recourse.

I guess I'm the only one but I really didn't think you could tell if it actually touched the player via replays shown. It was obvious he did by the way he throw up his hands after the ball grazed him but I didn't think you could really see it clearly on replays..

it did not touch the player, it touched his glove. that's their explanation.

From what we have seen this season, you obviously can't tell much from replays. So, why have it?

I wish some one could explain how the Vols only committed one penalty the entire game. That one was so obvious it had to be called!

Hey ref, don't call a holding penalty on my O-lineman, he only held the jersey, not the player. Give me a break.
