SEC bye week winners and losers in 2017

    I agree. The reason it's needed is because these two teams are so closely matched in raw speed and power from top to bottom. Other teams have it but not at the quantity these two do. The difference is Nick.

    An extra week to gameplan for Les Miles versus an extra week to gameplan for Nick Saban isn't even comparable in its advantages. I think that's the point there. When Saban was at LSU in 2003 and Oklahoma was being dubbed the greatest team ever (before losing to K State and then LSU) I jarred with many Big 12 fans that LSU could not only hang with OU but beat them. My reasoning was give Saban a month to prepare for OU and I'll take him everyday over Bob Stoops in the same timeframe. That was true then and it is true now. Saban is the best at preparing his teams for a specific opponent given the same time to do so and even better with added time.
