I know this was mentioned in another thread, but thought it deserved one of it's own. Seattle's moron of a mayor FINALLY allowed the cops to do their jobs and shut that shit down, albeit about a month too late, after a several deaths and multiple acts of violence. And to think, she thought it was going to be the 'summer of love'. Glad it finally happened, but when you watch some of the video from this morning and realize just how quickly and efficiently SPD took control, it becomes really sad to think of the damage they've been allowed to do over the last month. The mob looked like Oklahoma's defense and the police were Joe Burrow this morning. The next sad thing to see will be how much cleanup will cost.
Only because the mob had gathered at her house that morning. She wasn’t spouting the summer of love then. I think the mob has taken up residence in another area.
This is only to be expected. Caving in to radical’s demands will only enrage them more when they think they’ve been crossed. They will eat their own.
If I were an activist for BLM I would be happy that she finally took this step. CHOP has been an albatross around the neck of their movement.
