makes you wonder if UNC will have anyone left next year. Many mocks have mccants and felton leaving. Plus, I'm sure May's stock just went way up with that performance. They are losing a few seniors also. I know that Williams and Manuel are gone. They are losing the nucleus of that team. Of course thats assuming these guys leave. Which, I dont see why Mccants and Felton wouldnt leave. They should be right around Lottery picks.

Supposedly, May has said that he's planning to stay for his senior year.

As a Tar Heel grad, I'm very proud of the team and just wish I hadn't moved to Clemson this year so that I could have been on Franklin Street last night. Go Heels!

(But, in no way does this compare to how I felt when the Tigers won the Sugar Bowl for the football NC.) =) Geaux Tigers!

I think May will be a gonner after being the best player in the tourney and winning the title. He doesn't need the money like many other stars though so he May come back. McCants leaving would be a bad decision I think after watching him become so invisible for so many long stretches this year. Felton doesn't seem like he would be a high pick this year to me. He is the glue of that team and Smith going to that point zone was a brilliant move when he got into foul trouble.

UNC will also pick up 2 or 3 great recruits every year and be in the thick of the title hunt if they lose May and/or Felton.

Is it true that they paint the whole street baby blue to include any cars left behind, old ladies, signs, dogs, light poles, trash cans, mail boxes, etc?

If Knight would have stayed at Indiana, Scott may's kid would have stayed at home. Knight leaves, Sean leaves, Williams leaves Kansas..... damn leaves are falling everywhere.

Put McCants and Felton on LSU's team and you would be amazed how effective Bass and Davis would be down low. Every time May was double teamed he took a couple of dribbles away from the basket, which kept two defenders with him, then he passed to a wide open man outside who hit a three pointer. Bass or Davis can not be guarded by one man down low. Unfortunately we don't have a consistant three point shooter on the team.

too true. (off topic) i know Tasmin is a great recruit, but we could really use a perimiter shooter

So ironic that Sean and his Dad scored the same amount of points in the NC game although the younger had one more rebound. He has said he's coming back next year (4/6/05) but Roy is going to see what his stock is like so he may move on, personally, I think he's ready. McCants is gone but don't know abut Raymond. Anyway, a good final four and congrats to the Heels!

I agree May was a total beast, especially in the tourney, and would have made Davis look like an avergae player this season. But May did improve tremendously over last season so I do hope that Davis can develope similarly by next year. He has all the tools.

What I really love about May is how much better he got from last year to this year and how he improved as the season went on.

He came into the tournament playing well and dominated everyone
