Kieth Jackson was senile when he was 30. He has never been a good announcer, ever. I used to wonder what game he was watching when I was a KID. He has always seemed to have a bias for one team or the other, he misses plays that are not hard to see, he would agree with the officials if they called a fumble even if the guy rolled over on the ground 6 times before the ball popped out. If he hadn't coined the tearm "ole nellie" no one would even know who he was. I've always associated him with the BIG Ten and PAC TEN and hopefully for the few games he does till he dies it will always be just the Rose Bowl. He is simply the worse announcer who I've ever seen on national T.V., period. And I've said it a hundred times over the years. Poor, piss poor.
Aside from being biased, did anyone else catch how many times he blew calls today? There were two occasions when he was saying some one fumbled and was chasing down the football when the ball never left his hands.
Keith Jackson has been kissing Pac 10/Big 10 ass for 30 years. I've heard him call games between the Pac/Big 10 and another conference where if you weren't watching the game, you'd think the Pac/Big 10 team was dominating, when in reality they're trailing by three TDs. Admittedly, he did love Bear Bryant, but that's the exception that proves the rule. Never have liked the overrated *%^&%^&.
Yeah I heard him make several bad calls as well. Like I said, he don't know shit about football!! :geaux: :geaux:
