Burned up to the camp friday after work to do a quick scount and hang a couple stands this weekend. Drug the skiff up with me as an afterthought and glad I did. Fished a couple hours both mornings before getting to the hunting prep stuff and hit limits of some fine ones pulling cranks baits pretty quick. Couple went over 3lbs and a bunch of em 2-2.5lbs. Pic of those later they still on ice till this evening. as for the scouting good grief at the acorns.....they got plenty to eat gonna be hard to peg em down to one tree but I got some stands up in some likely spots I hope. Only bad part of the trip was having to watch that ridiculous football game at the main camp house with a few state fans...but being the only one there with a box full of crappie helped a little.

You can post hunting/fishing pics without words but not words without pics. Forum policy.

Of course. Actually was just dragging crankbaits. Just starting to fish with them here pretty lately and obviously it can be pretty productive. As I've said before I am no crappie fisherman I'm all saltwater but I have caught more crappie the last 2 years than in the rest of my life combined.
