Actually, I have heard other Auburn fans comment on the civility of last years game. I was there, and I agree, there were no incidents to speak of- not that I saw, anyway. Chuck, I think its rather silly for you to expect for us to come up with some valid explanation as to why Auburn fans have such disdain towards us. How the hell would we know? Kind of like how you wouldnt know why LSU fans have such disdain for Auburn, no matter how much you would like to think that you do. I dont like Tubby, and maybe his recent success has something to do with it. However, I can garaun-damn-tee that has nothing to do with how I view the fans. Maybe it has an effect on my perception of the players...just maybe. I dont expect you to ever see both sides of the coin, and you should have come to expect the same from us. Your best course of action is to stop trying to convince us. It hasnt worked yet, and Im willing to bet that it wont. Spread you propaganda elsewhere. The only "factual" part of your post were the 3rd, 4th, and 5th sentences.

Hate: FSU Miami Notre Dame Generally when you list a team that you hate it is due to the fact that they have been beating your arse on a consistent basis. FSU and UM have certainly been doing that to Florida but they cheat and run dirty programs to do it. Like: Florida of course LSU (Grew up in BR, all my best frineds are season tix holders) Oklahoma (Bob Stoops) As for a particular school's fans, they all can be rude, it is the luck of the draw in which type of fan you encounter. LSU fans are rude, especially when they are drunk, that rings true for all fans though. My mother was accosted by a drunk Tiger fan after the "Blowout on the Bayou" in 1997. I wasn't there to whip the guy's arse unfortunately. I often wonder if that same Tiger fan accosted a 52 year old woman after Ole Miss whipped LSU's arse the very next weekend. Sounds like a lot of you hate Spurrier not Florida. Try going to the Orange Bowl, Neyland Stadium or Doak Cambell Stadium with me and you will see what rude/psycho fans are. You have no idea, brawls are common place. If I was an LSU fan I would hate Joe Dean for two reasons, Curley Hallman and Gerry DiNardo. Of course Arnsparger shafted you too with the Spurrier hire. Looking forward to the game and tailgating in two months, I'll be there on the 50 yard line behind the Florida bench, surrounded by rabid LSU fans as I always have for 15 years. I have never had one problem in all that time either. There is no better place in the world to tailgate than Baton Rouge on a Saturday. Your band is the best in the land as well, of course I will freely admit I don't want Florida to ever be known for their band. I'm glad everyone continues to overlook Florida, our renegade QB that liked to call Spurrier's old plays last season (17 INT's) is now in Chicago. The media is acting as though our talent is the same caliber as Tulane, I hope the rest of the SEC does the same. Go Gators! Go SEC!
SouthLink, I'm talking about having us ranked outside the Top 25. I think we'll get past Tennessee and Georgia again, some people think USC will beat us. Our offense has the potential to equal the 95-96' unit. This underdog role is fun though, a whole lot less pressure and no target on our backs.
the response of the players was based on fan behavior during a game, it was based on fan behavior towards the coaches and players and the head of tiger walk before the game . .and I'm ok with it. I think you'll find few people from Auburn with a problem about how CTT handled the MSU game. Another example of CTT handing someone something they deserve . .good for him for standing up for his program. I have also found very few examples of Auburn folks complainign about LSU behavior in the 2002 game . .you'll have to point those out to me, but to my understanding - everyone got along fine.
I've come to the conclusion that you guys really don't care what Tuberville does or how he acts. In this entire thread, not one of you acknowledged that fact that Tuberville let up on lsu at the end of the game last year. You all conveniently leave that out. And for you to say Tuberville has zero class just shows how ignorant you guys are. From the athletic AND academic status of his seniors right now (a handful already have their degrees) and the fact that he's kept Auburn at the top of the SEC West for 3 straight years, the man has class whether you morons will admit it or not. He runs a very clean program, much like Saban. It all boils down to the fact that you guys just can't stand to get your butt kicked by Auburn....and you obsess about all these other intangibles to try and justify your horrible attempts to beat Auburn....it's funny actually. So keep on obsessing about us, we'll keep on beatin' that @ss! 31-7!!
