If MF is going to have an injury now is the time. Not a better team for RP to get his reps. The more experienced dept we have the better. It's a long season. I can't wait to see Crowton's play book by season's end. :crystal:
Where did you attend Law School? Do you work in the Baton Rouge area? Just want to know if we have some mutual friends/family.
Not sure if this has been discussed in one of the Matt Flynn injury threads, but didn't he play his entire senior year of high school with a significant foot injury? I vaguely remember reading about that when he signed with LSU.
I'm of two minds on this... On one hand, I just want to kick butt. So I don't care if RP wins the starting job from Matt b/c of an injury and takes us all the way home. On the other hand, I have a lot of respect and admiration for Flynn's patience and team leadership. I hope he gets the shot he earned over the last few years. Mostly, though, I am just HANKERING for sad USC fans on Bourbon St in January. Miles has earned our trust so far. :thumb:
If Flynn sits out, and RP starts, and the game gets away from Mid Tenn, who are some of the younger QB's that could get some playing time? I'm guessing that they are planning to redshirt Lee (hope I got the name right), but I'm curious about what other qb's LSU has that could benefit from some game time experience.
No one will really benefit with Lee taking a redshirt. Andrew Hatch will be next in line, a senior transfer from Harvard with coaching aspirations.
