Driving around yesterday I saw gas had gone up to $1.85-$1.95 where it had been $1.75 or lower the day before. Trump should issue an executive order making it against the law to charge more than $2.00 for regular.
Off topic but when I had a boat (22 foot fiberglass bay boat with Yamaha 200) I towed it with a half ton Chevy Silverado with a 350 Vortec engine. Towed OK but I could feel that the ride would be smoother with a bit more power. I thought about getting a 3/4 ton diesel but I didn't because the truck was also my daily driver and I didn't need rhat for any other reason. Anyway I went to Grande Isle pretty often. It's about a 260 mile round trip. I would usually fill up at a nearby Exxon station or sometimes Texaco. I could make the round trip with about 1/4 tank left. A couple of times I used Chevron and when I did I would have to put more gas in around Raceland on the return trip in order to make it home.
