So people can discuss the stuff. You know, as well as I do that if you drag your cursor over the name of the thread, it shows you the first part of the thread. Starting a new thread actually allows you to avoid it more than if it's just placed in a thread titled, "LSU basketball". calm down bro. my comment was made because of the florida loss to sc at home. i felt it would take something special in order to hand florida back to back home losses. it was actually closer than i thought.
Now, gee, THAT post is in stark contrast to your original "gloom-n-doom" one... You know, sausage...it's OK to give a head coach--who was previously already on the hot seat--SOME credit for their current accomplishments. I feel that if Brady fails to get us out of the opening round of the NCAA's again, where we are right NOW, will all be for not. But that's still down the road. Right NOW, we're 1st in the West. Try living it up for a change....
Why does this happen after every loss? Does anyone remember that Brady was the one that put us in 1st place to begin with? You can debate all day long about whether Brady was successful in the past, but he has done a great job witht this years team. Other than D Mitch, we are so young it is unbelievable. People look at teams like Auburn and say, "Yeah, they lost, but once those young players get better the will be pretty good!" Well, Brady has already made us a winner with the players we have. Everyone needs to calm down a little bit.
Brady didnt put us in #1, talent did. Now that coaches are seeing how to beat us...we are losing. 1-3-1 defense and press and get the ball out the hands out Mitchell. Brady better look at film and notice this is happening or he is in for a rude awakehing in his next games. Good coached tems are going to beat us. My main beef with Brady is depth. We have no idea if we have depth. He doesnt play players when we are winning by 20. Its always Voogd and Rolle and Lazarre coming off the bench until we are up by 50 with 1 minute left then the rest of the bench gets sent in. Why didnt he try these guys earlier in the season to see how they do in competition time I dont know. Probably because....o yes this is a easy one....naw I will not say it.
Youre an idiot. You do realize Brady went out and got that talent, dont you? The reason we dont know what our depth is like is because Brady is trying to get our young players as much playing time as possible. They need all the playing time they can get.
So....just to clarify this: Every coach that wins, it's "talent" that got them to where they are. But if the team loses, it's not the "talent's" fault--it's the coach? ...and the coaches don't recruit--recruits come to LSU because of a mysterious gravitational force of mystic proportions and NOT because our coaches do a good job of recruiting them.... Is that correct? Ok. Got it!
