I don't eat salmon often, but just like to drizzle it with a garlic butter spread and black pepper and bake it. I have done cedar plank a few times. I've been to and from Colorado a lot lately, and have made a few fishing trips on some weekends. Rainbow trout is my current fish to go to.
I usually get king or sockeye up here. Rub it with paprika, white pepper, cayenne, thyme, oregano, basil and sometimes lemon juice. I grill it unless it is a downpour outside, then it is the oven.
