Sucks for him. You sign a contract years ago that you agree to get the bulk amount at the end, a 14M lump, but, no, we'll just cut you. All of a sudden the 14M you were counting on is gone. Just like that, cut, 14M gone. Doesn't seem like a good deal for WS. Why would agents agree to this up front?

I always thought a contract was legally binding, so I don't know how the NFL gets away with it either, unless there's wording in the contract that allows them too. All I know is that it's always been like this. That's why I don't begrudge Drew or any player getting as much as they can in salary and guaranteed money.
