I question the logic of a gameplan depending on refs to make a perfect call. We as LSU fans should know better. Peyton put that decision in their hands and got burned. What he should have done was call 3 runs and make LA burn all their TOs, but he is arrogant and thinks he can beat anyone with pass.
Let’s see, 7 or more posters are calling you out and disagreeing with you, but somehow someone needs to read more closely. Maybe, just maybe, you need to be less defensive, and acknowledge when you’re wrong. Take it down a notch, Francis, and you’ll get less flack.
Not impressed with Peyton’s play calls; too cute with Hill. Didn’t convert red zone opportunities (aka, Ensmingering).
Of all the losses in strange ways throughout the existence of the Saints this one hurts the most. The Saints deserve to be going to the Superbowl. It's downright criminal that a titanic struggle between 2 great teams should be decided by incompetent, criminal or both referees. Texas A&M all over again but worse.
Yeah, I agree. Payton didn’t call a good 3 play sequence at around the 2:00 mark. 1st down throw to Thomas started it, then we ultimately settled for a 3 with plenty time left on the clock. That I’m on board with, but not blaming the D.
Sean was coaching to win and not to lose... You expect the refs to do their job... If that was a subjective call it would've been different... This was so obvious a PI it's ridiculous that it wasn't called... And it happened twice today... And now this from Payton; "Just getting off the phone with the league office," the veteran head coach told reporters while digesting the 26-23 overtime loss, via Josh Katzenstein of The Times-Picayune. "They blew the call." NFL admits blown call..... . I thought the bullshit apology would come tomorrow... Fuck Roger, fuck the refs. .
