No Lewis, no Browner, no Breaux, no Vacarro, no Byrd.

For some reason I kind of expected the overpaid Byrd to get hurt but now they have no starting safeties

    No Defense = No Wins

We'll have all of those guys - except maybe Byrd - in the lineup for opening week.

Nick Toon will miss 2-3 weeks with a sprained ankle. I think his time with the Saints is done.

The first half kinda surprised me, and I'm a bit surprised at some of the responses on here. I could care less who won this preseason game, we played very well the first half when it was starters v starters. 21-0 until last :30 sec of half. Pats 1st team offense were 3 and out consecutively, and we scored FG, TD, TD on 3 consecutive drives. Better than I woulda predicted/expected. By no means do I think we are better than the Pats. If it had been 4 qtrs w/all starters playing, I am sure they would have came out on top. But, I'm pleasantly surprised w/defensive starters, running game, RBs out of backfield, and WRs. How about that Kikaha kid, nice rookie D man.
