Yeah, if there were any doubts that CB was our top need, we are clearing that up now. :(

    Congratulations Saints fans!
    I'm really happy for you.

Btw, Could the Saints have done this with Aaron Brooks?

Ok, games been over for about 45 minutes now and I'm just now sitting down. My points from the game:
    1) can someone teach Bullocks how to play football?
    2) can someone teach Fred Thomas how to cover without playing ring-around-the-rosie?
    3) I think my 3yr old could come and play TE for the saints and still make catches
    4) Duece is the key to our SB run!
    5) Tony Romo needs to get lessons from Steve Whetherford on how to improv a blown special teams play.

Saints play nowhere near their best game and still manages to win against the 2nd best team in the NFC. That's a good thing. A very good thing.

    A few game notes:

    1) Payton saved Deuce throughout the year for the playoffs and this paid off big time today
    2) The absence of Joe Horn was evident today as Copper and Jones were non-existent
    3) Josh Bullocks may be the worst safety in all of the NFL; He dropped 2 interceptions and looked quite amateuristic on some of the big plays by the Eagles (note: He covered Hank Baskett on the big play that was called back due to a false start, failing to knock the ball down even though he was right there to make the play)
    4) Reggie Bush is quite an exciting player; I'll just leave it at that.
    5) Did I say Deuce was money?
    6) Fred Thomas appears to be 44 years old and not 34 as his birth certificate indicates
    7) The offense was rusty in the first quarter; had they been in sync the game would have been over by halftime
    8) I have been waiting for Billy Miller to have a game like he did today; he very well may be our answer at tight end
    9) Note to Sean Payton: don't fall in love with the pass too much; take what the defense gives you
    10) Andy Reid is a putz; WTF but thank you anyway

I think Joe wanted to be in that game more than we can ever imagine. How long has he been the brightspot of the Saints. Not just on the field but off the field also. I'm sure it was killing him to not be able to contribute.
