Why not can you come up with a logical answer as to why you oppose it. And tradation is not a good excuse.

Yes, never gonna happen not because of the attractiveness of NO, but a SB host city must have a minimum of 30,000 hotel rooms. how many does BR have? maybe, 4,000?

As long as the Saints "aura" stays far away from LSU, I am content with it.

Our grass field is part of the Tiger Stadium tradition. I realize this may go away one day, but I ain't gonna like it! :nope:

And yes, I believe tradition is a valid excuse...

I do agree with that, and I am a firm believer in tradations but,

Would you agree or disagree that the field turf is a faster surface then grass?

And if so with the proven fact that LSu in the past few year as been putting racehorses on the field that a faster surface would greatly improve the team.

Tradation is great dont get me wrong, but if the chance is there to give the team an advantage then you have got to consider it.

I don't know if that is in fact true. if you have ever been on a field turf field, you quickly realize that it seems less firm than a well maintained grass field. It's nothing like astro turf which def enhances speed.

but you see that is what field turf is suppose to provide. All the great things about astro turf without the painful injuries.
And unlike grass field turf gives way easier then a cleat stuck in grass, so the chances of ankle injuires are cut way down.

I rather they keep a grass surface so that for huge wins I can still get a clump of it and keep as a keepsake, like I did for the big Florida win years ago.

There, that settles it. Natural grass surface is best for me. No further discssion required.

I still have mine in my freezer.

But in that light I hope we never go back to the days where beating Florida is a reason to go crazy and storm the field

definitely should switch to the field turf. its good stuff and LSU has a helluva time keeping their field intact. its looks horrid compared to most other fields after a game especially if its even barely wet.

LSU's field is bland looking because of this. or we need new upkeep to go with our super duper watering system.
