Posted this in another thread, but it bares repeating here - I think Loomis needs to come out and tell us what the holdup is. I realize you don't negotiate through the media, but he does owe the fan base some answers as to why they won't give him the money he's asking for; especially since Drew says (and I believe him) that it's a 'reasonable' amount. I wish Deke or Bobby would pin him down for a straight up answer and not accept the standard 'GM speak'. I tell you one this - we can forgive him for the bounties and we'll have his back with ESPN's hack job reporting about the bull$hit listening device, but if he 7ucks up and fails to resign Brees, he better sell his house and get out of dodge as fast as he can because there's gonna be a bulls-eye the size of Alaska on his back.

Well, we know Benson is or is very close to being a billionaire, so freakin' sign Drew Brees already.
I was hoping this was a sign of a shakeup concerning the Brees negotiations...but it seems it's just a promotion for a new position coordinating management of the various parts of the Benson sports empire. Incidentally, the new guy is both a Blue Jay and a Gump !!
