1. Yes, the Saints made his contract top heavy so there was no way the Colts could match with their current salary cap problems. The Saints will have to give up one of their 3 4th round picks.
  2. One heck of a good trade-off. The Saints certainly need to good CB to complement McKenzie.
  3. Sorry, the Colts have until Thursday to match the offer.

A league source says the deal is $15.6M over 4 years. The Colts lost CB Nick Harper to the Titians and if they dont match they will have lost both staring CBs from the Superbowl.

  4. Deadline for the Colts to match was today. It was assumed but now it's official. Looks like we've been upgraded.

  5. now that we've got a guy who can start in david, it will be interesting to see where the saints go with the 1st pick. i'll be selfishly cheering for D-Bowe to fall to new orleans.
  6. Same here and if Bowe doesn't fall to us I am hoping we get Craig Davis in the 2nd round.
  7. That's not selfish. D-Bowe would be a logical pick. I wouldn't mind seeing Devery and Bowe lining up for the saints. And if Trev Faulk makes the cut we'll have them on both sides of the ball.
  8. ESPN Radio just reported that Saint's have signed Charles Grant to a long term deal.
