I don't think its got anything to do with denying a home team; its the TV market. The Katrina comeback story is 6 years old now, and the Saints aren't the guaranteed feel good TV ratings draw they once were. Its all about getting big TV markets to the game now. They would love it if the Giants made it when the Super Bowl is in the Meadowlands, or the Cowboys in Jerry's Palace.
