that is who i would compare him to also, physically, not cheeseburger physically, but arm strength and height. I think Freeman has a better head on his shoulders, and also never had the talent around him that JR had.
Missing 5 defensive starters and a 6th one just returning after 3 missed games makes a huge difference. The Saint's have a good group of starters, but they don't have a lot of quality depth. The defensive backfield has been the strength of the D. The team may struggle more than usual until they get some of those starters back.
Sharper will play Sunday (although I suspect Usama Young sees the field quite a bit) and that will help a lot. He is the leader in that backfield and will get us straightened out this Sunday. We should have Tampa in a lot of 2nd and 3rd and longs as they do not run the ball well. With Fujita and Ellis back, I expect that to continue.
