Sorry for your friend and his family and thank him for his service. However if you think signing up for military service only means free college tuition and a few sets of BDU's you're living in the twilight zone. Never in the history of our country have soldiers had a vote in what battles they are sent to. You join, you train and you go. War is hell whether you agree with the politics of the current one or not. If you're confused about the possible risks to life and limb you probably shouldn't join. JMO

i know alot of people signed up after 2003, i'm not saying that at all, all i am trying to say is that the former President is responsible for those deaths, just like Truman, Ike, JFK, Johnson, Nixon and Ford are all responsible for the deaths in Vietnam. Our military is not here for personal vendettas, or for unprovoked wars. Why not just use the 600 or so independent mercenary companies like blackwater to do your dirty work, at least they get paid, and treated better.

Thank you for your service by the way, and i am also sorry to hear of anyone close to you that was lost. :usaflagwa

You mean the way the liberal media grabbed Limbaugh's "I want Obama to fail" line and ran with it, ignoring the expansion of the comment (not to mention his repeated after-the-fact explanations) that he was talking about his left-leaning agenda? The way back in the 90's, the DNC grabbed Gingrich's "wither on the vine" comment about the Clinton Health Care plan, and twisted it to mean Social Security?

Everyone does it; Limbaugh and Hannity in no way invented the tactic, and its disingenuous when they all do it.

Tit for tat, Limabugh, Hannity, et.al. spouted on and on about the dems "investing in failure" the whole time W was president. Then they do the exact same thing he was criticizing the dems for as soon as his boys were out of power. THe media should have jumped on the hypocrisy. I notice that now, Fox News thinks it's patriotic to protest the government, not their slant when the war protestors were hounding the conservatives.

Ahhh. It's the ole "talk about Bush so they get away from what Obama is doing" trick. Bush is gone...old news, so I'm not debating his presidency. And I see you've still got that race card ready to whip out of the holster.

As far as your views on the military and war, I'd like to see your credentials. Personally, I've got a Vietnam Service Medal I can show you along with an Honorable Discharge Certificate. I suspect your credentials are in a baggie waiting to be rolled.

I guess he extrapolated my use of "wigga" into some form of adulteration of the N word. Liberals will do that.:hihi:

No race card needed to pull yours. I understand it must be hard to see reality through that big white conehead hood. I bet it kills you that the President is black guy, you probably burn inside. Remember buddy, you made your racism apparent not me.

All i am doing when i talk about Bush is the same thing you and yours did and continue to do about Clinton, guess what dude, every crime ever committed is in the past. Obama is Obama, Bush is Bush, fortunately i am intelligent enough to look and dissect both.

As far as my credentials, you are right, i never served, i have had many family members and friends serve, die, and injured in service though, and i never heard any of them once brag about their medals or certificates. You defend your hero Bush, who was never in conflict either, but i bet you were all over the swiftboating of John Kerry who actually fought and was injured in service. You are piece of work man, and don't hate on me because you smoked some foul **** in Vietnam.

    Sighhhhhhhhh. Lasalle said:

That's the race card. He pulled it. My use of "Wigga" was not racist. See below for a full blown liberal use of the race card. I have killed people for a lot less.
