Based on what, exactly? Got some examples?

I should stop reading right now. Jeez . . .

So what are the sour predictions all about, amigo. Can I tell you how sick I am of hearing about Les' hat and his poor public speech? Do you seriously judge his coaching by that?

Two straight 11-win seasons ain't great enough for you?

When Miles starts losing seasons, then I'll criticise him, too. But it beats the chit out of me why we must cry and moan when LSU is in position to become the number two team in the friggin' country! What exactly are these Les Miles failings and why should we give a rat's ass as long as we're winning?

ESPN reported that they even offered him the AD upon his retirement.

Do you realize that Saban lsot 7 games his first two years. Before I hear the "Miles w/ Saban's recruits" thing.....Saban lost 3 games his last year with his own recruits.

One thing he has, for sure, is 4 conference losses this year.....two are to Vanderbilt and Kentucky- sheeeez!

Pete has 3 #1 recruiting classes, lossed to to unranked teams, and is righfully sitting behind Miles. :thumb:

Yeah, it's a dam shame he managed to land us in a BCS bowl after two loses to ranked teams on the road. :hihi:

I understand you were not hammering Miles and trying to be fair and rational but, wow! don't these things say let's savor the moment? :thumb:

Bayoutider - i have searched TideFans.com and can't find the link, maybe i should not mention anything until i can post the link. The message was something like this - Saban had contacted LSU (Bertman) but the contact wasn't warmly recieved by lsu.

Saban's gone. Deal done. Pursued greener pastures. Fine. I don't care where he goes or what he does now.

As for Saban and Bama, he ain't Bear. Bama fans love the next flavor of the week, always thinking that he'll be the next Bear. He won't. And neither will anyone else. The game has changed. They just haven't figured that out at Alabama. The best things Alabama could do for Alabama is (1) acknowlege the death of Bear, and (2) hire a decent coach and stay with him. Anyone who'd take that job must want to play golf and get rich on the buy out (guessing what Shula will be doing for a while).

Have faith Bama fans, in this you can trust. Santa wears red and white. And Crooms is snickering.
