Well, I'm a Saban man for sure and I'm sure he will soon pass Cholly Mac as the greatest coach in LSU history. But I'll wait until Nick has won about 300 games before comparing him with Coach Bryant.

Now, . . . who is this Spurrier guy?

I agree about Saban having the potential to be one of the most revered names in LSU history, and become as meaningful to the school as Steve Superior and the Bear were to their schools. I agree that jackson and Bryant were/are great, but if we're talking about sports analysts...

Am I the only one whose blood boils just seeing Trev Alberts' face? Just wondering.

I get all upset when I see Trev, so I'm not immune to hating a national broadcaster. Trev has to be my least favorite sports broadcaster of all time, I just hate his little jabs at teams he feels shouldn't be ranked with his top tier glamour teams.

Yeah, I did slip that in. I didn't mean to paint all us fans with one big brush . . . I just noticed that lately we have a lot of disdain for popular college football figures (the Kieth Jackson thread comes to mind). And I vented in that post above about it.
