Saban should rethink not pumping up the game. This team can't get up on it's own.

I think it is ridiculous to say the players weren't up for the game. Mauck did exactly what he did agains Flordia. He would focus on one receiver and then throw the ball too late. We won the game, I don't think we have any right to question saben's ability to prepare his team.

 

S CAL still has to lose now I think that LSU would play Okla a better game than S CAL but i do not see LSU going to the Sugar this year. Let us get ready to play ARK this year and LSU needs to pay ARK back GEAUX TIGERS !!!!

 

I"m NOT about to second-guess Saban's "downplaying" of this, or ANY game. The outcomes have been favorable. 10-1 is something that NONE OF US should be questioning.

I know the play of our offense tonight was DEFINATELY less than acceptable, don't think that that directly correlates to Saban's "it's a big game only because it's the next game" approach is the cause for it.

WHat he tells the media, and us, is one thing. What he actually tells his players is another, and I don't think any of us will ever find out.

He's trying to instill a "If you want to be an elite team, play and act like one" Elite teams DON'T NEED direct coach comments to the media to boost the spirits....Only the pretenders need to do that.

You don't go to an SEC school and play at a high level of competition if you NEED someone telling you, "We need to get motivated for this game"!!! If someone has to tell you, or say something to make you motivated, then you don't deserve to play in this conference.

Saban's running it the right way. Why should this game be extra motivation?? ALL of the GAMES should have THE SAME MOTIVATION!!! And our players are realizing that, and showing it.
