This can't be true because I have it on good authority that Saban will be leaving LSU to coach John Curtis.

Actuallly rumor has it Tuberville will be going to MSU to give Ole Miss woes. Ron Zook will go to the Pros and Spurrier will go to Auburn, because he wants to beat Shula.
Florida will then hire a "coming out of retirement" announced Jackie Sherill, and Saban will leave LSU, drive across campus and return to coach LSU another 15 years going down in the record books as LSU's greates, winningest coach.

    LOL...

On Thanksgiving Day about three years ago, I heard from a SERIOUS source on the Lair that my friend had eaten dinner at his mom and pop's house, who happened to live next to Brock Berlin's grandparents home...

He was out there playing football in the front yard when Berlin went out there to the car, and my friend stopped him...

He told my friend-point blank-he was coming to LSU, and started bitching about the runaround that Spurrier gave him...

I went and posted it, because my friend wasn't wanting to put his neck out there for the info, and he knew I would...

Well, where did Berlin end up? I don't doubt my friend for an instant, because I know him pretty well...

Just goes to show you, even FIRSTHAND info isn't worth a crap sometimes...

Yeah, I am not saying you made up the story, but I just find it highly unlikely that he would be telling everyone at the dinner table that he is leaving with Saban for the NFL...Realistically, I don't think Saban would allow anyone to blab like that...

Silly Rabbit -- everyone knows that Saban is going to Chicago next year... I mean, DUH! ;)

I wouldn't put much stock into what the OLD strength and conditioning coach said. If he's the OLD strength and conditioning coach he probably wasn't good at his job, so why would Saban take him to Atlanta?

Sounds to me like you're been had by someone trying to sound like he is in a position bigger than he is (the strength coach that is).

I heard it was Evangel. They can afford to give Saban a million dollar raise.

The only truth I can see is Jimbo coaching this team one day and that is why he stayed. He knows that Saban won't be here forever and he is in a prime position to take over. I see Saban leaving in 3 years to coach the New Orleans Voodoo in the AFL.

From an ESPN or SI article... don't remember....

Why the heck would anyone want to coach in the pros?
Sure the money is great and you don’t have to recruit or make your players go to class, but there doesn’t seem to be any tangible reason why a superstar college head coach would want to test his mettle in the league of mercenaries. Look at the last three high profile examples of college coaches jumping to the next level. Dennis Erickson doesn’t seem like he’s having much fun getting to deal with Terrell Owens and an average 49er team, Steve Spurrier might as well have FireRonZook.com on his visor so he can go back to being a god, and Butch Davis has to be wondering daily why he’s living in Cleveland when he could be one of college football’s biggest superstars living in south Florida. Looking at the reverse, Pete Carroll, Al Groh and Chan Gailey appear to be having a ball, and success, in the college ranks. And then there’s Keyshawn Johnson. If you’re a star head coach, you’re going to be a multi-millionaire and you’re going to be set for life. Why on earth would you want to deal with players like Keyshawn? If a Super Bowl winning head coach like Jon Gruden can’t handle him, what chance does anyone else have? Don’t think Bob Stoops, Jim Tressel, and all the other hot head coaches don’t understand how good their lives are as the man at their schools.
