I think the more important question is when Emmert leaves b/c that would definitely change things. Emmert did have a situation where he almost left for South Carolina two years ago. That's when he got the much-discussed pay raise.
That was Jenkins. He interviewed and didn't get the job. Jenkins was also supposed to go to Vermont or Delaware or something a few years back.
I believe he's achieved building a dominant program. I think he now wants to have a long-standing dominant program. I think he's gonna milk it for all it's worth. I think when the program starts to show hints of a downfall, he'll bolt for the nfl.
