Saban just said Randall wasn't a very good QB.

Saban told the 2nd floor he was staying less than 24hrs before he accepted the job.

He's obviously "tricky nicky". I wish Saban the best. I'm sure NFL teams contacted him non-stop, all the time.

On big difference, he can say that about Randall all he wants, but Randall is a Tiger for Life and I dig the guy, he was a team player through and through. As far as I am concerened as much as I am thankful for Saban he is no longer an LSU tiger. It was his choice.

My sentiments exactly. He basically slammed all three of the QBs. The question was framed along the lines of offensive balance. Didn't he say (and I'm paraphrasing) we had to run the ball more this year because our QBs couldn't throw it. My first thought was "Hey Nick, you recruited 'em!"

Funny how he jumped everybody for being critical of a college kid with the WAFB poll and now in a big media market he drops a bomb on him as an excuse for a conservative offense. Maybe his (MR) mom will call Nick now.
