    Very interesting perspective.

    May I ask what violation?

Penn State - Mark it, even if Saban goes to Bama, as soon as Penn State opens up. If I was Bama fans I would be prepared to go though what every other stop Saban has.

    THink about it,
Penn State - One of the most storied programs in College Football.
Stadium big enough to hold his ego.
All the money in the world.
And it is close to his roots.
They have recruiting power. Its Penn State. LB U. Sure they have been down a bit but trust me. He is eyeing that job, and will until he gets it.

Penn State, as soon as Joe Pa retires, Saban will go after that job with every ounce in his body.

That may be why he doesn't go to bama. The buyout number of $10 Million that is being thrown around could put cold water on a move.

I can't see Nick accepting a buyout at all, much less $10 million. Homie don't play that.

There's a stadium that big? :hihi:

I have read on other message boards that he will accept the job on Tuesday. Personally, I don't believe it, but if it does happen, will that be a major distraction - for the fans not the team - with the Sugar Bowl?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that they are in the same boat that SMU was in, having just come off of probation, one more violation in football or basketball could do them in.

If this is not correct, then it's my bad memory.

Just think of it, boys! Saban bolts for Bama means that they get the Crown Jewel of college football coaches! Just think how great it will be to see the look on Saban's face when his old LSU Tigers whip his crimson butt!

I can't wait to see Saban melt under the pressure of the high expectations of the Bama Nation!

Saban CAN NOT handle adversity! He will bolt any situation or job when he senses an impending peak and slump, because he's never been fired, and he doesn't want to start getting fired.

Saban has a LOT of work to do in Bama Land, and, not much time to "get-R-done", so to speak. BamaSaban will be expected to win the SEC by the end of his second season at Bama, because he won the SEC in his second year at LSU! Saban will be expected to win an undisputed National Championship by the end of year four AT MOST. BamaSaban will be expected to accomplish equal or more than he accomplished at LSU.

Franky, boys, I don't think that BamaSaban has it in him. I can't wait to see him fall flat on his face in Bama, just like he's doing in Miami.

LSU will whip BamaSaban's crimson butt. Bama can have ALL of our ex-coaches, but, once they all bolt for Bama, SabanBama and his spawn are all just one big pile of . . . say it with me . . .

    TIGER BAIT !!

    LSU! :crystal:

Nah I dont think so, I know many of us are fine with Saban going there, he is not our coach anymore. Plus how great will the Bama rivalry be now. Talk about something to talk about.

So personally if he does go there, its great. Makes for some spicy falls...

Remember its just a game, and its a game about discussion, hence boards like this thrive. What better story to debate then our ex coach now at Bama building them back up.

LOL SABAN left LSU Because ? He wanted security ? Or did he want more money ? he will leave the Pros, take what Bama offers if he cannot turn the team and they want to fire in in two yeras , so what ? He still has a contract! He can retire . I say that he(Saban) is The Bama Coach, and by the way The SEC is going to look bad in the Bowls this year . I am losing money this year. Tennessee is not in the game , Auburn has not got to the game site yet . The Gators and The Tigers better be Hungry .

We must be watching different Games, Auburn is up 14-7..
UGA beat a ranked Va Tech school. A coachless Bama team lost on the last second...
Auburn will win, Tenn might not.

I lost lots of money this year already. I have a 3 teamer with Ark, Tenn, and Auburn. THink I drink fromt he SEC Koolaide to much ;-) ????
