sorry, had a lot of family in the military. Comparing your football team to these men and women is bullshit. Not about being hypersensitive, it's about the reality that those kids are playing a game they love and some asshole who thinks he's bigger than it all wants to compare them to people laying their life on the line for us.

 

It's a job, just like law enforcement. There's no draft. They enlist by choice, we pay them, suck it up.

 

He did it with 9-11 a few years ago, compared losing to 9-11.

It's a double standard though, the media crushed Kellen Winslow when he called himself a soldier, but they revere this fuckwad.

 

I don't recall being offended by anything ever. Except Saban leaving in the dark of night then never addressing the fanbase. See, hes despicable for real stuff.

Coaches always use trench warfare, war, battle in regards to football. It fits well.
