Saban interviews with Bama

    :dis: :dis: :dis: Saban was never going to coach at Bama even if it was handled another way. Sexton was just throwing his clients name around and Saban already stated how he felt.

    Nobody knows the truth behind what happened/happens with Saban except Saban.

    if rodriguez turns this down.. saban will be the next alabama coach... it was that close...

    reports are that he has met with the team and that he is going to turn down the job. Mal Moore has come out and said he is staying. You heard it here first.. Saban will be the next bama coach.

    Saban said earlier Thursday that Alabama had contacted his agent regarding the coaching vacancy, but he wasn't interested.

    "I'm flattered that they may have been interested in me, but it never really progressed, because we just never let it progress," Saban said after practice in Davie, Fla.

    Lou Saban served as the first Head Coach at SUNY Canton from 1995 until retiring in 2000. I guess maybe Bama could coax Lou out of retirement, but I heard Lou really likes money.
