As a coach, I had a rule: A kid never quit on me twice. When you leave, you're gone. With Saban, it is with gratitude and appreciation for what he did for our program that I say, "C ya"! Old saying, "Money can't make you happy......but it can make miserery a lot more enjoyable"; however, I posted this earlier but I'll say it again, money doesn't matter if you aren't happy. It's far from the first time a college coach has a short tenure in the No Fun League and returns to the College ranks. Surprised, yes....hard to believe, no.
LOL...These guys in Mobile are chump stains. I lived there for a few years and this station and their idiot reporters have no cred. NONE.
Angus Cooper was the guy that had the plane go down there. He is not the type guy to hire or interview anyone. This does not make much sense at all.
Cooper is a BIG, BIG money guy for the Bammers. He could stroke a check for Sheilas buy out and Sabans entire contract and not have the slightest dent in his checking account. I dealt with some of his businesses when I was in Mobile, they are all over the world.
When the mainstream sports media picks up on it and reports it then I lend some credence toward it. Other than that it is wishful thinking and smoke blowing.
I'll believe it when I hear it from a credible media source. I guess I have to admit that for all their seeming LSU bashing in the past, ESPN would be one source I'd believe about this. I hope it's not true. However, if it is, I will look forward to loving LSU Les and hating Bama Nick.
