I am just amazed how little press this has garnered, usually anything like this would garner a little attention. Even the AU boards have been pretty quite. Nothing sinister is going on, I thought it was funny about the guy busting out a cruiser's window. Beyond that, I keep thinking of the Shula debacle, keeping the punishment in house and the resultant ice-cream comment, thought the coach at bama would use this to make a statement. I will give him credit for not using this as an opportunity to distinguish himself from Shula via the press. Still, I am interested in seeing how bad the bark is vs the bite. Shula needs to win games quickly, and depth helps teams win games. If these guys don't miss playing time against real teams rather than the scrimmage schedule we will get a real read on how the coach at bama feels about his team and if the pressure is causing him to bend a little at the waist.
No, LSU Saban did successfully cover up many infractions...people think a few incidents under Miles is a sign of a declining team discipline? Nah, a sign of declining manipulation of facts.
Well we really don't know the facts, what if he was in the back seat and banging his head on the window saying to himself "damn...how stupid is this...damnit why did I have to go out!!" ..or something like that, and the window accidentally broke? As stupid and funny as that would be, it is possible...just as possible as him busting it out of a beer rage. Either way, it would get reported the same way on the internet ..."UA player BUSTS out a patrol car window!".
Wow, sounds like Saban will have his hands full with this football team. First he has to find away to keep these guys together as a team or it doesn't matter what goes on at practice. Then there will be the distractions about this incident as well as Nick's Bama team compared to him at LSU. Really, I do believe it will be a more entertaining football season than normal especially if Bama gets some bruises along the way!
so what did they show up in? a potato sack and hip boots? how exactly do you break a dress code in tuscaloosa is the real mystery.
They have a collared shirt rule along with some other rules about camo and large chains and such, they denied them entrance due to that. I can't see how Deadrick will (if all holds true) continue to be a part of the Crimson Tide.
The one time I went to that horrible club near College Drive, I found out they have a no-untucked-shirt, must have collars dress code. I never went back.
Geez man, if this is what your friend is telling you, do me a favor and tell him to find some different sources! Is his "sources" callers to Finebaum? Details are available. Arrest reports become public record. Saban trying to cover it up? Absurd. Hell, he's been on vacation. I responded in another thread. Considering the first post, work, and getting new tires today I've been a tad busy, ya know? I'll be sure to let you know my schedule in the future! :yelwink2: What town? There are a lot of bars that have gone to dress codes; it works keeping the gangsta/drug crowds out.
