% of total ten win seasons since 78, not the highest % of 10 win seasons. If you had a lot of 10 win seasons before 78, it would hurt your percentage. It is that silly (x/y)*100 thing where x is the number of 10 win seasons from 78 forward and y is the total number of 10 win seasons. I included the raw number of 10 win seasons since 78 to illustrate a small percentage did not necessarily mean a void of 10 win seasons by a given team, just that the rate of 10 win seasons was probably decreasing. Of course this also doesn't factor in the total number of seasons of football played, strength of schedule, common opponents regressed against their conference records, winning percentage of total games played during each period and a host of other factors that I could have considered. I could have put over 100 teams on the list but had better things to do on a Sunday afternoon. We don't see too many Noles around here so I did not include them.

I thought this was an open topic. I have a really cool table to post if I could just get it to format right........
Good point nootch........his past recruits too. I'm not reading through all the posts but, judging by the last two pages of the thread, assume there's a lull on the Saban thingy??
