    This is a forum, you have the right to express your opinion. I'm not mad and I know you are a good man.....that's just my opinion too. No biggie, just thought it warranted saying but it's over- no hard feelings here dude! :thumb:

    Besides, maybe I took it wrong cause most of the other members received it like you say it was intended.

    Thanks for the post.
    I know Memphis area recruiting has had a bad reputation for a long time.
    I don't really follow it that close, but newspaper reports seem to point to connections between some of the high school coaches and wealthy boosters. I remember being suprised to read about Kentucky being mentioned in the Means mess. I didn't know Kentucky cared that much about football.

    You mentioned Coach O and Ole Miss. I know they are successful here in Memphis. I know they have picked up a few recruits in NE LA where Ole Miss has a fair following, and in South LA where O and one of his assistants are from.
    Are they doing much recruiting in Alabama? If so, any of it successful?

    It reminds me of Kramer on Seinfeld trying to get back that autographed Yankees picture for George and he went visit the sick kid in the hospital to try and get it back.
