After spending more than a decade dealing with fans like the one's you have just mentioned, I've pulled out of the association I had with Bamanation Partners, aka Tidefans.com. I had a great time there...spent more than a decade heavily involved in the day to day operations.

However, it reached a point that there were too many things going in directions that...well, didn't mesh with mine. More so than that, in retrospect, it was one of the smartest moves that could be made. Going through this past decade of both ups and downs I can now sit back and be a fan...enjoy the passion I have for the program, but, most importantly be able to sit back on a Saturday and enjoy the game again for what it is...what it was meant to be...without having the worries of watching a forum to see if there were things that needed to be deleted, people who needed to be put in a time-out, etc.

I suppose you can say that Dietzel was successful after leaving LSU, He coached at Army, his lifelong dream, and later at South Carolina. He was AD at South Carolina and later at LSU. Not a fabulous success, but certainly not a failure. He certainly did regret leaving LSU because Cholly Mac was more successful than he was.

Bill Arnspager also was successsful as AD at Florida and later returned to coach in the NFL again with San Diego at DC, his life-long specialty.

Gerry Dinardo coached a year as a pro in the short-lived WFL and later at Indiana, but he dod get fired there.

Mike Archer has had a long carreer as a DC but has never sought a head coaching job again.

Curley Hallman, last I heard, was a drywall contrator in Tuscaloosa.

Yeah, to say that McKnight is seriously interested[/U] in Bama is quite an over statement.

Sorry i have been traveling and have not been to the board much in about 3 weeks.

Just thought as a member of the forum that i had a right to post. Sorry from now on i will not post because i know how irritating it is for people to post on a discussion forum.

It is also funny that i dont remember ever forcing anyone to read or reply to my post. Isnt there free will on this board that if you dont like my post either red me or dont reply to it.

And by the way yes i am trying to recover from the end of the season. Spring football while still football doesnt have the excitement of the season.

Tongue in cheek i have always felt responsible to state the obvious. That is my sole purpose for being here.:lol: :lol:

Goodness Calco, am I going to have to train you all over again this year? Yep, it's definitely the off season because you're more serious than ever, again. I just remembered your posts last year about having to do stuff you hate once the season was over because yoru wife makes you. I did not even read your initial post. :hihi:
