Gotta respect the man for not being over confident. I'd still put my money on ole Rick Cauley though....

Ok guys, if you have ever listend to Colin Cowherd and heard him refer to Compass, his producer, you know who Chadd Scott is. What's funny about this, is when Cowherd asked Compass about what he felt about Saban going to Bama his comment was something along the lines of "as soon as I heard it was about to happen, I grabbed my rosary beads and I'm rubbing them right now." Colin said something along the lines of "I see."

NOW, Chadd Scott isn't this guy's real name, either. It's his "business name," or at least that's how he describes it.

AND, he is an Auburn graduate...sadly, it doesn't reflect well on that segment of their fan base.

I would be willing to bet, he hand selected those emails out of hundreds he received...only to create this little piece.

It's a biased piece, no better than a fanatics blog.

So, when you ask about credibility, what do you think about Cowherd's?

My opinion? Doesn't effect me, at all. I know who/where it's coming from.

You know good and well he would never do anything like this. It is a shame that the Alabama fans are the only ones that demonstrates this type of behavior in the SEC. The media and everyone elses fans in the SEC are good, upstanding, mature and honest people. Their opinions are based all from unadulterated facts and with the utmost objectiveness. Never would they compromise the integrity of facts or figures to support their predetermined biased opinion. Alabama fans are the only ones that do that....:thumb:

Making a determination of an entire population of people based on the actions of less than the entire population. That seems to be a definition of some word that I've heard before.... and another word that describes people who do this type of thing is also coming to me.... :rofl:

Which brings me to this question. Do you know how the term "bammers" came into existence?

The thought among most is that the term was started because Auburn fans were called, "Barners."

However, it dates back to Civil War days...it was a term those in the North used to describe all those South of the Mason-Dixon line...originated when the capital of the Confederacy was based in Alabama.

So, IF you take it in its original context, you are a Bammer also. :yelwink2:
