Ryan Perrilloux will not play this weekend - per Les Miles @ 6:10pm

    After reviewing the video it was concluded that no charges were to be pressed on RP. If he had made a big scene and refused to leave the club it would have been fairly easy to charge him with something like disturbing the peace, or resisting arrest since you think bouncers are the authority. They did not. So I have no problem with his behavior that night.

    Yes others were there who were suspended previously and it looks like Miles is going to kick the other one off the team. The difference between RP and Odom is that RP is under much more scrutiny being a top QB and Odom is overlooked. Odom has been in 3 violent incidents and RP was allegedly the victim of a violent incident.

    BTW, RP used great judgement in calling his attorney at the scene of the incident.:grin:

    I assume the terms for dismissal for any player are clearly defined but interpeted on a case by case basis. Hence, Odom being kicked off and RP not.

    One minor citation is no reason to be troubled. That is the only thing he has ever been guilty of, and it is such a minor thing compared to what alot of college students get into.

    I'm sure he does to, and I'm fairly sure that RP being out at 2 a.m. and/or getting involved in a skirmish at a bar (whether the instigator or not) didn't break any rules or RP would have been dismissed this weekend/early Monday morning.

    Is any of this info actually official yet? I'd like to hear this coming from the mouth of an impartial authority like CLM or the BRPD rather than WJBO's anonymous sources or RP's lawyer.

    Miles spoke to Fisher today and from the link I provided before Miles will be making an decision about RP playing in the game after practice today.

    I assumed that what I was reading was correct and I was wrong for that.
    But you missed my other posts where I said if it was true or not I left it
    up to the coaches to determine the outcome.
    Please re-post the rest I've said on this subject lately since you are so concerned about what I've said.

    Now why don't you go boycott the varsity, of all people I thought you would be one pointing out how childish that was!:rolleye33:

    yeah, rp is here to stay unless he get's tired of the lsu "fans" who throw him under the bus every chance they get.

    let's face it people, there's only ONE thing RP has been "convicted" of and that's using a fake ID. really, i couldn't care less about that. he also had some unpaid parking tickets, but again, i couldn't care less.

    i feel a bit vindicated by what i've been saying through this. i said we needed to get rid of odom, and we needed to be cautious about chastising rp. well now we know rp is actually the victim in this (which fisher has been saying all along) and he may even have a case against the varsity.

    so chalk it up for lesson learned folks... agian. i don't know why everyone loves to hate rp, but we need to collectively realize that he's not even close to the criminal everyone makes him out to be.
