RP was never actually IN... as miles said in his press conference yesterday, it has always been Flynn at the helm.

about as fishy as tbait3 saying he knows RP better than anyone on here:thumb:.

    Re: Perilloux to be cleared.........

Ok, so now that I have gone back over some of the threads you have totally taken everything I've said out of context by lumping everything together in one big phrase.
Nevermind those that excused the situation or made lite of incidents involving these football players past and present of which one was charged with a crime.

You obviously have no problems with those that I responded to such as the post where the poster clearly states that nothing should happen to RP because LSU needs him, he is a star.
I am putting this in my own words because unlike you I don't have the time to go through each post of each thread to point out inconsistencies in one's posts.

I take back my apology based on you lumping things together.
I owe myself an apology for wasting my time thinking that we could have a conversation while failing to realize how you took some
of my posts out of context.

NO coach or NO player are above the great college of LSU nor should they accept or keep players of bad character or get into trouble whether charged with a crime or not.
Just because one isn't charged with a crime doesn't mean they were guilty or innocent of bad behavior.
There have been players of bad character before at LSU that weren't charged with crimes that were of bad behavior and disrupted the team chemistry before being dismissed or quitting the team.

If you have a problem with me not wanting to see people with bad character play for this university that is your problem!
From my viewpoint our conversation is now over, end of story!

And this is probably the best statement in this thread so far. Coach Miles did what had to be done and what needed to be done. :milesmic:

Just words, SD. You are convinced that Ryan is a person of bad character and nothing will change your mind. You do not know the guy. Your opinion is based upon what you read/hear from others. I can't and won't try to change your mind. My oldest son was a crackhead and constantly getting into trouble, but his character was unimpeachable. He is now a productive member of society responsible for molding young lives as a 7th grade teacher. I'm sure a lot of folks wrote him off as a bad person, but they didn't know him. If you must judge based upon the observations of others, listen to the ones that are in a position to know what the hell they are talking about.

There's a difference when you talk about people with bad characheter or someone who makes bad decisions. I certainly dont know RP and cant attest to his character. I do however trust our coach and from what our coach said RP has made some bad decisions including this incident.

RP was not charged with a crime but was not cleared of wrongdoing by our coach. He is not innocent as some here proclaimed because our coach has now suspended him from practice, the game and travel. He is also not guilty to the point he should be thrown off the team as some have proclaimed.

The extremes that both sides have in their opinion of RP are typical but like most opinions the right one usually lies somewhere in the middle. In this case our coach is the one with the opinion that counts and its also right.

Yes, Tebow is all of those things, but I think the reason most LSU fans hate him is because he isn't a Tiger. I, for one, would have little problem with his arrogance if he donned purple & gold.

I hate the race card being played, but I do think, in some instances, that there are those folks who are turned off by a loud, arrogant black man. They see RP as that, instead of an athletically talented kid who makes some really poor decisions while being in the spotlight.
