Re: WWL siting inside sources from LSU/lsusport.net story - merged threads My Younger brother is very good friends with Jermaine Sharp, and therefore I know him personally. He definately blew a great opportunity at LSU. I will leave it at that. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Re: WWL siting inside sources from LSU/lsusport.net story - merged threads That might be a good thing. Names drug through the mud, kids kicked out of school, coaches losing their jobs, etc. etc. etc. All because a stripper lied. And now you say Sanchez should have gotten more press? Seems like the Duke thing would be an argument AGAINST getting a lot of press in a case like this. Same reason as the chick in the Kobe case? Or the Duke case you brought up? Or even the reason that kid that lied about his recruiting came clean? Could it be because her story didn't add up and investigators we're on to her? That may be because you're LOOKING for LSU news. So anytime anything about them is in the Media (good or bad), you see it. I miss some fairly big stories sometimes, because I skip right over them if it's not about LSU or the SEC. They're still there, I just don't see them.
Re: WWL siting inside sources from LSU/lsusport.net story - merged threads Its crap thats posted like this that really makes me question why I post on TF. But oh well, just another ignorant opinion of someone you really dont know.
Re: WWL siting inside sources from LSU/lsusport.net story - merged threads Good points. Here are some of the things most, outside their fan base, didn't hear: Doesn't mean it still couldn't have happened and maybe she was confused/scared at the time but not the behavior I'd expect. Seems like she would have at least told the friend, "Let's get out of here."
Re: WWL siting inside sources from LSU/lsusport.net story - merged threads Very good post and points. I can understand that with his father's death, the mindset can be shaken up to the point that other things seem trivial. Nonetheless, on the other hand, there IS this thing about responsibility that he has got to have, esp. when you are a high profile potential future leader of a nationwide top 5 football team (top 10 then if you don't wear purple and gold glasses:hihi. This I think is a deciding moment for RP's future, and role with the team: shape up and prosper, or ship out. I do hope for the former. LVTGRFN, can't give you any more rep points about "MB" :hihi:
seems like this is no big deal. if he gets kicked off for missing classes and some team meetings then clm is stupid. i dont even understand a suspension. what ever happened to running laps or benching a player. seems to me that a drop down the depth chart would be more effective. you dont want a guy with discipline problems running around with a lot of free time.
Even in the midst of his tragedy, there is responsibility and being mature is handling the situation right. Calling CLM, saying he needs a few days away from everything for this or that reason, is alot better than disappearing and acting out in a manner thats adverse to his status with the team and school which is the most important part of it.
Correct because otherwise he leaves Coach Miles high and dry. People handle situations differently. Ryan should really consider Coach Miles and his team when making such decisions. After all, they are his family too now.
